2019 8th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Science (ICBBS 2019) was held in Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China from 23 to 25 October 2019.
CHST member, Dr Tee presented the preliminary results of a clinical trial conducted at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) and was honored to receive the best presentation award in the session, “Medical Image Processing and Medical Testing”. This award has encouraged Dr Tee and his team to work harder towards the clinical translation of chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI for cancer diagnosis in Malaysia.
ICBBS conference series are held annually. Previously, it has been successfully held in Shenzhen, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Copenhagen, Bali and Singapore. The aim of the ICBBS is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Bioinformatics and Biomedical Science and related fields. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the conference.
