CHST hosted Professor Anthony Vodacek from RIT, US from 24 May to 7 June 2019. Professor Anthony Vodacek received his Ph.D. (Environmental Engineering) from Cornell University in 1990 and has been the faculty member at the RIT and Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science since 1998. His areas of research lie broadly in multi-modal environmental remote sensing.
During his time at UTAR, Professor had discussions with many staff and students from different faculties and departments regarding the research works Prof had done in the past 20 years and about life and studies in the US. Prof also gave a few public lectures to the staff and students.
