🌟 On July 10, 2024, our centre chairperson Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Chee Pei Song and members Ir. Dr. Goh Choon Hian & Dr. Tan Chun Hui had the honor of organizing the dynamic 2024 Taiwan-Malaysia Semiconductor Forum at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre in Kuala Lumpur. This impactful event brought together over 170 participants, including 31 students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between Taiwan and Malaysia in the semiconductor industry. 🤝🌐
The forum was a collaborative effort, with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) as the main host, co-hosted by Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). 🎓🏫 During the forum, our centre chairperson delivered a captivating talk titled “Roadmap for Flexible Electronics: From Energy-Hungry to Self-Powered.” 📈✨ The presentation focused on the integration of chips into flexible electronics and achieving self-powered mechanisms using WiFi charging, triboelectric, and electroactive polymer approaches. 💡🔋📡
